Bonus of Shadow Hunter critical damage is applied from behind the target

The new skill description reflects these changes, however we will revert it (in 2 days) untill the next client update, since the in game skill description does not reflect the above mechanic.

With todays update you disabled the critical bonus of the skill completely
The bonus was not removed, instead it is given from behind position only.

problem with making only from the back is othel if chase/bluff doesnt land he most likely hit from flank or front which still means almost removed bonus completely

  The critical damage for standard attacks bonus does not appear at a players cabinet. It does not apply in front or back hit. The critical damage bonus after backstab also does not apply, All changes after todays update.

    Since you decided to dwelve into the othell's mechanics, may I mention a certain part of them that was never thoroughly implemented in the server -the half kill - It applies only once on a players cp ,all other half kills a player does in pvp have no effect on enemy's hp. They are mentioned at the damage board but do not have the practical effect of reducing enemies hp by 50%. And finally I do not recall what the Lethal hit rate was ,we could not see those stats in the officials ..but I'm sure it was way more than a 1,2 or 1,6 % as is here.

Half Kills do work as intended. Half Kills Drain CP to 0 and the skill damage goes to HP since GOD Awakening.

This is how Half Kills work since GOD update:

Half-kills drain to 1 the target CP and allow damage to go right into HP, so, for example, if you land a Deadly Blow + Half kill, you'd get enemy to 0 CP and the skill dmg will land right into HPs.

Full Lethals are gone since Gracia/Freya updates, they used to drain CP and HP of the target down to 1 with a single blow.

2. Each skill has it`s own half kill chance rate, this chance can be increased by:
a. vital blow success rate giving buffs/skills/items bonuses
b. resistance to deadly attack success rate (rare)

3. Some skills damage can go straight to hp.

4. DOTS (damage over time skills - like bleed effect,etc) go through any invulnerability.


Be aware that game mechanics changed compared to previous high five/interlude/other.
GOD game mechanics are different. Maybe one day we will have the time to make a nice wiki with stat bonuses and game mechanics explicitly explained. But whatever doubt you have can be discussed.

We spent years making this server, especially when it comes to othel class, in terms of game mechanics, one of our devs was a hero on official and spent years there, game mechanic wise othel class should be flawless. Buggs regarding bonuses and such might happen, since we constantly update the game content with new skills, but general game mechanics/formulas most of the times stay the same.

the bonus is given when hitting from the back (you can check it on npc, just constantly cancel triggers so its not as big gap between damages)
but ye, making it only from back makes no sence, in pvp most of the time its hits to flank (unless stun/bluff lands) if stun doesnt land while casting skill player/ or even a mob in pve turns and get frontal damage instead of increased flank dmg

indeed, seems like a big nerf, alltough it does not seem like it since an othel should always try to hit from behind since most bonuses give highest bonuses if hit from behind, in practice - live circumstances many times it s difficult to achieve.

Also, othell should use skills in certain order, depending on the type of othel for ex always use shadow reverse, or chase before starting the blow dealing skills and always start with a certain skill to achieve the most damage output.

For side damage best class should be othel wind rider due to easterly... if you prefer that.

    You still ignore what I say.
    Half kills After the cp drain do not work. The half kills dealt After the first cp draining half kill.
    The 50% critical damage increase for backstabs does apply, but the 65% critical damage for standard attacks does not. It doesn't seem like a big nerf....it Is a big nerf.

its not how it should work..
half kill should drain stamina to 0 and then make full damage to hp
like when you hit a hero with full cp it becomes 23771 to hp and 15162 to cp (23771+15162)

your 23771-15162=8609 to hp means normal chars mechanics (like titan hits 23771 and thats 15162 to cp and 8609 to hp)

lvl2 Shadow Hunter at lvl 120
lvl2 Amazing Angel of Death at lvl 115
lvl5 Mortal Strike at lvl115
lvl5 Brutal Stab Expert  at lvl115
    should also be available, plus ofc all passive superior skills reaching lvl12

     Also Grim Reaper Possesion should increase critical damage by 100% for 5 seconds ,it only does for half a second. Paralyzing Shadow has no effect at all on target.

your claim is wrong. Half Kill works exactly like stated above on official, same as it works on our server for years now.

CP goes to 0, no damage is transfered to hp since cp is higher then damage dealt , there is nothing to transfer.


Note*: Half Kill system message is not shown on official (bug).

    May i also mention that at lvl 125 skills like
